Today in science we started researching information for energy time lines. Most groups had at least ten important historical events, discoveries or energy related inventions. Tomorrow you will work with your partner to organize your information into a time line. Remember the event or discovery must be historically significant or important. Although the inventions of the first IPhone is important, the invention of the first cell phone is a better fact. Don't forget mechanical energy inventions!
Writing
Most students have begun writing their story. Remember the criteria:
Religion
We reflected on the two questions below today:
Share with a parent the ideas we came up with in class.
Math
More practice today applying our adding and subtracting strategies (e.g. adding up using a number line, making an easier question and pencil and paper regrouping) to solve money problems. Making easier questions is a great strategy to use because many times the cost of items end in nines. Do you know why stores do that?

Make sure you review your math tests and set goals in your assessment folder. The two different strategies you can use to solve the questions where the sum is one number and the difference between the numbers was another number, were posted on the weekend.
Some students are still struggling with addition with regrouping and especially subtraction with regrouping across zeros. YOU NEED TO PRACTICE!
Reminders:
- No screen collage due tomorrow
- Lenten promises on paper foot (past due)
- Share a Book students.... be prepared to share a book tomorrow.
